More than 20 churches in Baldwin County are joining together to promote a big Sunday afternoon event in Daphne“Path to Peace” is an event “to promote racial reconciliation, unity, and peace.”

For the first time, we have two guests on Faith Time this morning. Pastor Rick Malugani from Fairhope Christian Church and Pastor Henry Crawford from Good Samaritan Sanctuary are our guests.

There’s a lot happening Sunday afternoon–here’s a rundown of events from a news release they sent out this week:

We invite the public to join us in one or more of the following:

4-5 pm March peacefully to the Daphne Civic Center in a show of unity (meet at the Daphne Civic Center at 3 pm for BRATS shuttle to the march starting sites, Lott Park and Village Point Park, each 1 mile from the Daphne Civic Center)

5-6 pm Engage in fellowship and enjoy complimentary food and beverages

6-7:30 pm Experience a service of love, peace, and reconciliation, through music, participation, and keynote speaker Pastor Joe Johnson, Mt. Hebron Church Ministries of Mobile.

7:30 pm Leave with a renewed sense of peace, taking actions small and large that contribute collectively to a more peaceful home, community, nation, and world.

I was happy
when

I like
their high goal

“to promote
racial reconciliation,
unity, and peace.”

I hope
peace comes true
in Daphne
as well as
